Light Modeling: Simulate and optimize all the photometric and colorimetric characteristics of the light on products of any size.

SPEOS LightModeling provides all pertinent information about the light such as quantity, propagation, distribution in 3D space, color, as well as compliance with standards and specification. SPEOS Light Modeling enables you to optimize your product and meet photometric and colorimetric specifications.

Visual Ergonomics: See final working appearance, check visual comfort, legibility,avoid reflections & glare.

Simulate and analyze the interaction between any product and its lighting environment, taking into account physiological aspects of human perception.

Render in HiRes the photo-realistic aspect of your products, with a unique physics based approach to light, taking into account the dynamics of the human eye (spatial and spectral sensitivity). The final picture is then obtained taking into account all opto-mechanical properties (scattering, absorbing, refracting.) of all components, including their spectral behavior, as well as the eye sensitivity.

Then render the contrast and colors perceived by the observer when looking at any illuminated or unlit object. Simulate the saturation, blooming, color perception of the real human eye – for ultra-realistic rendering images, human safety and comfort improvement (lit appearance, blooming…).


The Synergy

SPEOS for NX brings high added value to those developing lighting for vehicles, dashboards, control rooms, cockpits, electronics systems, GPS, LCD displays, Hi-Fi, mobile phones... by enabling them to create high quality lighting and visual ergonomics simulations of their products for early design validation and consequently reduce the number of physical prototypes.

It enables you to see the final working appearance of the product, and give you a view of the product integrated into its final environment (such as a LCD screen on a car dashboard, surrounded by other controls and displays). You thus are able to check visual comfort and harmony of the product in its context. Light and color contrast, glare and dazzling, and ghost reflections can all be simulated ensuring brightness, uniformity and optimizing perceived quality and safety.
