Primary Presenter Biography: Arden Anderson started at Mercury Marine in 2005 to develop crashworthiness simulation capabilities for marine engine systems. He is currently responsible for structural analysis and advising on engineering simulation technologies. Prior to joining Mercury Marine, he worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory simulating impact events and dynamically loaded structures. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with MS and BS degrees in Engineering Mechanics.

Abstract:  Case Study: Learn how Mercury Marine integrates simulation technology into its product development process and manages the data with its PLM systems. Arden Anderson will describe how Mercury Marine uses PLM tools such as Teamcenter and SharePoint to unlock the value of its program management, design, test and simulation efforts, making the whole of the product development process greater than the sum of its parts.
