Abstract:  Integration of mechanical, electrical and software artifacts are critical for development of complex systems. Enterprise in many industries need to reduce the cost and time to achieve the target level of quality and cost for complex systems. Open Services for Lifecycle Management (OSLC) is a pragmatic approach for PLM and ALM interoperability which makes software tool integration practical by enabling aggregation and combination of heterogeneous services and information. OSLC is the moniker for vendor independent approach to lifecycle integration which reduces the complexity of enterprise integration and process support for the product and service lifecycle.
