Abstract:  Virtually every customer uses workflows. The objective of this panel would be to discuss the strategic business processes that customers are automating with Tc workflow and to understand what features of workflow they consider to be most critical and align that to what Siemens views as strategic capabilities.

1. How does Tc workflow fit into the organization’s enterprise workflow/business process management (BPM) applications, i.e. what are Siemens near term plans or desires to integrate Tc workflow engine with enterprise workflow/BPM applications?
2. Which customers are operating with multiple Teamcenter sites and need to manage processes across those sites (i.e. global workflow)?
3. What challenges have customers faced when migrating from Tc Enterprise workflow to Tc UA workflow?
4. What are critical needs with respect to automating workflow, particularly in the area of selecting participants and other actions that cannot be enabled via handlers or out of the box capabilities?
5. Testing workflow permutations is expensive and time consuming with ""workflow failure states"" often slipping through the cracks; what can Siemens do to help reduce the workflow testing burden on customers? (e.g. testing as the same user in multiple roles yields different results than testing as different users in those same various roles)
