Abstract:  Migrating to a new PLM platform is never easy – companies face many challenges and pitfalls along the way. This presentation will help you plan for a successful migration and list down various approaches and pro and cons as well as risk mitigation strategies.

At eQ Technologic, we have helped many customers around the world to successfully migrate to new Teamcenter platform from Teamcenter Enterprise, Legacy systems as well as from competing PLM offerings using the eQube® platform based products.

eQube® has multiple offerings in the market: eQube®-BI for organization-wide Business Intelligence and eQube®-MI for application migration, synchronization, and integration. Other offerings, eQube®-TM, eQube®-DP, and eQube®-SM provide core capabilities for modeling systems in support of application migration / integration, ‘cube’ migration, and for data quality assessment / repair.

eQube-BI is a revolutionary solution for “Rapid-BI”. It has unprecedented ability to rapidly collate, synthesize, and aggregate data from disparate systems in a single cube for actionable analysis. Due to its underlying open, flexible, and scalable architecture; it’s inherent “in-memory analytics” capability; and its ability to provide “in-context BI”, it is able to effectively address the challenges of Big Data analytics.

eQube-MI acts as an Enterprise services bus to efficiently address complex application migration & integration, master data management, and enterprise-wide work-flow facilitation challenges.

eQube-TM provides unprecedented capabilities to establish systems’ object model / data maps for ‘transformations’. These maps then can be leveraged for application synchronization, migration, and integration using eQube-MI. In addition, these maps can be leveraged for ‘cube’ transformations of eQube-BI cubes (from legacy to new system) or for migrating cubes from other BI offerings to eQube-BI.

eQube-DP is meant for data quality assessment, correction, and repair. eQube-SM provides the ability to establish a corporate semantic knowledgebase by capturing semantic information of the various enterprise systems.
