Abstract:  This session is intended to share best practices in model-based engineering, and look at real-world examples from customers. For example, we will look at different ways analysts can control which CAD geometry updates they want to propagate to their CAE models, or how they can reuse previous work and avoid re-meshing the entire assembly for every CAD geometry change. NX will be used as the CAD and CAE tool to illustrate the workflow between designers and analysts, but this will be a Teamcenter-centric presentation. The best-practices which will be explained remain relevant even with other CAD and CAE tools.
