Tip of the Month: Synchronous Technology with BCT aClass

Synchronous design in NX allows a fast and simple modification of parts, even if the complete feature typology is unknown or the geometry has not been generated in NX.

BCT aClass classifies CAD models and allows the definition of mappings between expressions in the CAD model and class attributes. With this mapping BCT aClass makes sure, that class attributes are always synchronous with the expressions in the CAD model.

The operations of the synchronous design generate expressions in NX. During the classification of CAD models with BCT aClass this expressions can be assigned to class attributes. This way BCT aClass alsoBCT supports the classification of designs that have been edited with Synchronous Technology.
