It was an early start for the conference as those participating in the golf tournament loaded up the shuttle bus at 6:30AM Sunday, May 1. There were twelve groups of four players that played a “schramble” (Players use the best tee shot of the group, and then play their own ball for the rest of the hole. The best score for the hole is used for the group.) The wind added a bit of difficulty, but the bright sunshine and beautiful golf course compensated for it. Lunch was served promptly after the players returned to the clubhouse and raffle prizes were given to some lucky participants.
After the attendees rested for the afternoon, Industry Night started the conference festivities Sunday at 6PM. The rooms were bustling as participants moved from one room to another mingling and enjoying the great food. Although the gathering was very informal, business discussions could be heard throughout the room mixed with laughter and the clinks of glasses. Industry Night is a great chance for users, partners and presenters to loosen up before the serious presentations early Monday morning.
