Track: Deployment Excellence Connection

Session Number: 170006
Date: Mon, May 8th, 2017
Time: 3:15 PM - 4:00 PM
Room: 203

Description:

Apache Ant is a powerful build and deployment tool that is built into the BMIDE. It has a long history of use, and is thoroughly documented.

With an ant build script, you can run any Teamcenter command line utility with a simple double-click – saving time and preventing user error when running manually from a tc_command prompt. With ant, you can export and import preferences, ACL, queries, stylesheets, transfermodes, reports, etc. Once exported, these configuration details can be easily managed by any source control system.

Learn how to write a basic build script with targets multiple utility commands.
