Aberdeen indicates Electronics constitutes 35% of the cost of the product and companies using formal processes for managing design data and components see a 13% decrease in development time and an 11% decrease in product cost. This session will highlight the new and existing Teamcenter ECAD Management capabilities, that can help you better manage your PCB design, part library and release to manufacturing processes, thus increasing design productivity, reducing component costs and accelerating time to volume production. The session will consist of a combination of slides, videos and general discussion to step through design data management, part library management, ECAD-MCAD co-design, visualization and analysis, as well as BoM management and release to manufacturing capabilities. It will be applicable for people experienced with our ECAD management capabilities, as well as people considering whether integrating their ECAD data and processes into Teamcenter is appropriate for their environment.
