Description:

Configuring a robust data model in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA) is essential to establishing effective PLM processes. It is essential that the data model be well planned out from the outset of the TcUA configuration effort. Nearly all other configurations of TcUA are dependent on the data model, and once data objects are generated using the data model, there are limitations on what updates can be made.

This presentation will provide a view into the Orbital ATK TcUA data model for Systems Engineering related objects. This presentation will also describe experimentation that has been done in standalone TcSE to validate some aspects of that data model. Key considerations and tradeoffs examined in reaching this data model will be discussed, with a focus on enabling attendees to better evaluate their own planned data model.
