New product introduction process at BSH (22 mins.)
BSH Household Appliances, a global leader in the home appliances sector, has implemented a highly automated process on Teamcenter that coordinates the planning and execution of work activities from the design and release of parts to sourcing to plant-specific production implementation.  We will describe how this process supports BSH’s new product and product variant introductions, as well as, discuss the key benefits and challenges of their approach.

Teradyne perspective on PPG (22 mins.)
Teradyne is expanding their global business organically and through acquisitions.   With this growth comes the increasing R&D complexity in order to leverage synergies across the businesses.   Some of the priories Teradyne is addressing within program/product planning and execution are:
•         Leveraging products and technologies across organizations.
•         Bridging the communication across the Teradyne enterprise and including suppliers and CM’s.
•         Multiple business processes and systems in place.

Bill Duggan will discuss Teradyne’s process driven approach in the program planning and governance and some of the areas they have identified as priorities for integration and leveraging their PLM platform.
