JT Enabled Digital Transformation @ Daimler AG
Digital Transformation at Daimler is nothing new.  Daimler is several years into a digital transformation process where users across the enterprise and throughout the supply chain work and collaborate with precise 3D models based on JT (ISO 14306).  Expansion of JT continues with new use cases being deployed.  The former CIO for Product Development, Professor Alfred Katzenbach will explain Daimler’s rational to seek greater CAD independence.   Dr. Sebastian Handschuh, Manager “Engineering Collaboration Concepts & Standards” and head of former DrivingJT@Daimler initiatives will give an update on Daimler’s progress (over 17 million JT files under management) and lessons learned.
