Requirements Verification Processes at Orbital ATK

One of the challenges with the discipline of Systems Engineering is to be able to present critical product information in a meaningful and useful way to then be consumed across multiple organizations.  This presentation will present a high level view of the verification process utilized within Orbital ATK. This presentation will focus on the goals of the verification process, the personnel/roles involved, and the interactions of Teamcenter project data to allow personnel across organizations to perform the verification processes while avoiding duplication of data by multiple people.

Systems engineering is recognized and widely used by companies driving complex engineered product development. True value for implementation is yet to be achieved. A structured methodology, process, Teamcenter suite, and phased implementation across all systems will drive required integrated results. Discussion includes: methodology and implementation process, Teamcenter suite coverage across functional areas, and use of POC's and pilots to drive cross user community buy-in.
