So what is Siemens PLM Connection?

Siemens PLM Connection is a globally branded user community and is supported by PLM World in the Americas, PLM Europe in Europe and Siemens in Asia Pacific (Australia, China, India, Taiwan, Korea & Japan). Additionally, there are many other regional user events that Siemens and other user groups organize throughout the year around the globe. A single global brand helps extend the reach of our community across the globe as many Siemens clients are global companies. Siemens PLM Connection Americas 2012 Users Conference

Siemens PLM Connection 2012 Americas User Conference will be held May 7, 2012 – May 10, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and will bring together Siemens PLM Software product users, managers, partners and developers of Siemens PLM Software all into a single integrated conference and will contain several Connections. During registration, you will choose which of these Connections you want to register for, however, this will not limit the presentations or training sessions you will be able to attend. It is simply a way to help facilitate networking among attendees based on your primary interests. Listed below are all the Connections. The week is organized into three major types of sessions:

1. General Sessions
   Starting each morning during the conference, general sessions give attendees the opportunity to learn about the state of Siemens PLM Software from the company’s executives. Attendees get an overview on all of Siemens’ PLM product lines and gain insight into the future technical and marketing direction of these software offerings.

   The general sessions also include presentations prepared by Siemens customers and PLM World members who have real world PLM experiences to share. The sessions feature presentations by PLM World Premium Partners whose products and services are available to supplement your PLM solutions.

2. Special Interest Connections
   Throughout the week, the conference holds break-out sessions in Technical Tracks based on our 7 Connections.

   At the time of registration, attendees choose which Connection to associate their badge with. However, they are not limited to attending events associated with the Connection registered. Signing up for a Connection simply gives attendees a visual opportunity to see and network with others based on the area of primary interest.

3. Training Sessions
   As always, Siemens PLM Connection provides free 90-minute training sessions for conference attendees. Running from Tuesday through Thursday (subject to change), these sessions enable attendees to learn more about Siemens PLM Software’s current product offerings. Attendees have the chance to participate in hands-on demonstrations, ask questions and learn about the latest technology advances. Although no pre-registration is required, seating is provided on a first-come, first serve basis.

   In addition, Siemens PLM Connection offers Optional High-Value Training on Friday for people interested in gaining a more in-depth knowledge about the software. Conducted by senior Siemens developers, there are four morning sessions, running 8-12 am available at a cost of $125 per class.

We allow for all interested users to submit abstracts for the upcoming Siemens PLM Connection conference. This opportunity allows all users to connect with other users and Siemens alike in sharing experiences, best practices, and general product knowledge. Who is PLM World?

PLM World is an independant not for proffit organization, with a structured board of directors. Our mission is to be the Voice of the User in providing an open forum for the exchange of ideas within the Siemens PLM Software Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) product environment. Citizenship is open to users of NX, I-deas NX, Velocity Series, Teamcenter, and Tecnomatix software.
