Smart Issue Management system should have following characteristics:

  • Easy to capture issues at different stages in product lifecycle.
  • Help in learning from past issues and improve quality
  • Help in prioritization and planning to maximize quality
  • Reduce time in activities related to issues and spend more time on core activities i.e. Design & Validation
  • Help in reporting and analysis to take preventive actions.

For the points above, issues must be managed along with Designs for traceability, must have automations and integrations with different applications and have good dashboards, reports & analytics capabilities.

Issue Management system in Teamcenter along with its Active Workspace Client provides very good traceability, but it lacks in automations, integrations to capture issues quickly, dashboard, reports & analytics capabilities.

Integrated Issue Management is developed on top of TC Issue Management with lot of automations, integrations with other applications, industry specific accelerators, real time Dashboards, smart Reports and Analytics capability.
