Conference Policies

Each Conference Registration includes:

  • Access to general session opening ceremonies and keynote presentations
  • Access to Conference Sessions
  • Access to over 70 free 90-minute training sessions
  • Admission to Partner Exhibit Hall
  • Continental Breakfasts, Lunches and Refreshment Breaks
  • Conference Materials
  • All evening receptions and events

Dress Code:

Business casual is the preferred dress for all PLM World activities.

Educator and Student Verification Policy:

Please note that verification of your employment as a full-time instructor or enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited academic institution is required at the time of registration. A current instructor or student ID, Registration Receipt for this semester or Letter of Enrollment on school letterhead should be faxed to 336.232.9722. Conference Payment Policy:

In order to receive conference prices listed, you must be registered and paid by the dates listed. If payment is not received by the deadline, the attendee will be charged the next deadline price. See Registration page for detailed conference information.

Conference Confirmation Policy:

Your registration will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. If you do not receive confirmation within 7 business days after your completed form and payment are submitted, please call 518-612-6068.

Conference Substitution Policy:

Registration may be transferred to another person at any time. A letter on company letterhead requesting the transfer should be brought to the conference by the new registrant along with the confirmation letter of the original registrant.

Conference Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations will be granted to written requests on or before April 1, 2012. No refunds will be issued after April 1, 2012 for any reasons (including credit for future year). After April 1, 2012, only transfers will be accepted to the conference. Registration may be transferred to another person at any time. A registration transfer must have the same price, registration type and form of payment. If they are not the same, please cancel the original registration and create a new registration for the new attendee.

To transfer a registration, the new attendee must fill out a transfer form and have the original registration ID available.

Waived Conference Registration Requirements

Anyone receiving a waived conference registration will need to book their hotel room for the duration of the conference at the conference hotel.

Hotel Cancellation Policy:

A 72-hour cancellation notice is required prior to your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit except non-refundable, non-transferable reservations as noted in the package disclaimer. If you cancel within 72 hours, including reservations made within 3 days of your arrival, you will be charged the 1st night's room rate and tax. For Total Rewards customers, this amount will be deducted from your Total Rewards account. Declined or invalid credit card numbers may result in cancellation of booking without prior notice. Personal checks will be accepted for pre-payment of reservation balance only if received at least 30 days prior to arrival date. Checks will not be accepted if received less than 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made for December 29 - 31, 2010 require cancellation 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are subject to the forfeit of one nights deposit.

Hotel Deposits and Credit Cards:

All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card. For general reservations, one night's room and tax are charged upon booking; for package reservations, the full package price of room and tax are charged upon booking. Reservations made with declined or invalid credit cards are subject to cancellation. If your reservation is for arrival within the next 3 days, you will be required to present the same credit card which was used for the deposit to the registration clerk upon arrival for verification. If outside of the 3 day arrival, advance payment for all nights can be arranged by calling 1-800-CAESARS.


PLM World Inc. will have photographers roaming Siemens PLM Connection Americas User Conference taking pictures of events and people. PLM World Inc. and their assigns and designees, have the right to use, reproduce, broadcast or incorporate in any manner whatsoever and throughout the world, all or any portion of photographs and/or videos of you for use in marketing materials and/or training materials produced by PLM World Inc. or its assigns.

Travel companions are free to attend all evening receptions and events. We regret that they are unable to accompany you to any other conference activity. Speakers may contact the PLM World office or registration desk to request an exception for travel companions to attend their session(s) only.


PLM World Inc. reserves the right to re-schedule the date and/or venue of any conference provided notice of such change(s) is sent to registrant at least 30 calendar days before the original date of the conference. If PLM World cancels a conference for any reason; a complete refund may be made of any and all registration fees paid for such conference. If PLM World cancels a conference for any reason; and/or if an individual cancels his/her registration for any reason, PLM World assumes no liability for any non-refundable costs related to travel to and from; and/or for accommodation at the event that registrant may have paid or committed to pay in anticipation of such conference.


All Siemens PLM Connection Americas participants are solely responsible for the costs associated with attending or otherwise participating in the conference including – but not limited to – the costs of travel and lodging to and from the conference; and shipping and safe keeping of any personal or business property sent to and from, or used in conjunction with his or her participation in the conference. PLM World encourages all conference participants to obtain insurance to protect against the loss, damage or theft of any personal or business property.
